Congratulations to Ido on his last Biomacromolecules paper and for getting the front cover of the October 2017 issue
Micellar stability dictates cell internalization
Our paper in collaboration with the group of Lorenzo Albertazzi at IBEC was just accepted to JACS (2nd JACS in 2017 :-)
In this paper we demonstrate how small changes in the hydrophobic dendritic block of polymeric amphiphiles strongly affect the micellar staibility and internalizarion into living cells.
Our group focuses on the design, synthesis and characterization of functional polymers and dendrimers for applications ranging from biomedicine to material science. We are specifically interested in the design and synthesis of complex macromolecular building blocks that can self-assemble into functional nano-scale particles and arrays with controllable shapes, sizes and internal architectures.
